Practically invented that kind of scarf online. (And is way better and very well known) And people pay HUNDREDS of dollars for them. Stupid? Yes. I've seen her scarves sell for $200 easily. Sometimes more. This girl probably thought, "Hay i can knit 2. im gonna kwit mai job and make scarfs!"
